Pancake day

Hi Guys

Sorry about the delay but i have been very tired and sleepy, these past couple of days. Chemo has ravaged me more than i thought it would and all i wanted to do was sleep it seemed.

I have felt sick even though i haven't actually been sick.

I went for blood tests at Haslar this morning. Karl, my good friend from the navy took me and it was lovely to catch up on life - just us two.afterwards we went to the drop in centre for a cuppa and a chat.

Back home I managed to perform a little in the kitchen by way of some home made kitchen soup, and then to bed.

Maria's daughters Amanda and Sam came round in the evening, where we ate the soup followed by pancakes. It was a n evening full of fun and giggles and was lovely.

We also shared our news with them in that I have proposed to Maria and she has accepted (Hooray!)

The girls were overjoyed and wished us well all in all a wonderful day. We haven't set a date, just our intent, for those who want to know the ins and outs.
