One of the outside showings of cancer is the weight loss obviously, and although with some of us more portly types certain people might say that wouldn't be a bad thing, I definitely don't reccommend it as a dietary choice.
I was weighed yesterday at St Mary's and pitched up at 103.3 kg.
A quick conversion on the calculator gives 16 stone and 3 pounds approximately. not bad considering my attempts to put weight on prior to Chemo.
It seems to have worked after a fashion seem in that my weight has stabilised or even gone back up slightly.

However I still feel "skinny" - my body shape has changed and I have lost weight from my arms and legs.
My bum is now the size it was when I was 11 and my waist has lost 4 -5 inches.
My face is becoming longer and less rounded, but please don't ask me "Why the long face?" save that joke for a horse and wacth him laugh!!
My clothes seem to hang rather then fit (or at least they do to me), and i've lost the will to keep making more holes in my belts.
Instead I have employed an alternative strategy in that I have retuned to using braces; which reminds me:
Why does a fireman wear red braces?
To keep his trousers up.
seems like the horse loved the joke.
