Eating - Shopping - Eating

Hi Guys

Sorry for not making an entry for a while but we had my twin Grand Daughters stop over for the night.

We ate at "The Buccaneer" (Harvester) in Fareham and it wasn't 3 bad.

Arriving home, they did some girly things with Maria like learning to knit etc. I fell asleep in the armchair, and awoke to find that Megan had drawn a picture of me, which considering her age (10) was quite a good likeness. a new talent for her perhaps.

We got up saturday morning and enjoyed a full scottish (square sausage) breakfast cooked by mine own fair hand.

This was followed by a trip to Fareham, yes the Pearl of the Hampshire Riviera, for some girly retail therapy.

Check this out:

I used my disability badge for the first time in the market car park.

I still had to pay for the privelige of parking there but was able to park in a space next to the shops (Poundland) with no bother, and no waiting. Priceless!!

I could get used to this as it certainly made part of the trip a lot less stressed.

Shopping complete we dropped them off at their home arriving at ours just in time for the rugger.

Marias daughter Samantha and her hubby Scott ( both Blog Followers) arrived early evening and we hastened to the Hong Kong Tea Bar in Pompey or a slap up chinese dinner.

It was fantastic and lived up to its reputation. I highly recommend it to any afficionados of chinese cookery.

We dined like kings and came away stuffed and satisfied as per usual, for under forty quid - fabulous!

Home afterwards where the girls shared a bottle of vino and discussed important issues like chocolate and shoes.

Me and Scott talked about the Pompey / Liverpool game (He's a supporter of the scousers) and whether Mr Adams will hang on to his job.

Vino gone our guests (who were really good company incidentally) departed , marking the end to a somewhat busy but lovely day.

bon soir bon soir
