What do you call a penguin in the desert?
Lost - geddit?
A quiet day for all. Maria had business in Hythe which took up most of her day, so I was left holding the fort.

I used to think "Only in America" but we are now emulating that which has gone before "Jerry! Jerry!". This is the Britain we have voted for, or have allowed to happen (rare splash of social comment).
My good pal Richard turned up from Angmering for the afternoon, and I also had a visit from my pal Maggie and my boy Wayne. Usual deal: It was wonderful to see them and good to catch up on things. Maria arrived back late afternoon with Daisy dog, and rustled up the last of the mince for my tea.
It was as lush as the first lot and I ate it with relish. My mouth has healed up quite a bit, and my taste buds are starting to operate again. So it tasted even better than yesterday, mind you things like that always do don't they?

On a physical note , I tentatively blew my nose and was delighted to observe no trace of the sanguine. I am starting to heal which can only be a good thing.
