Yes its me, back and feeling quite a bit better than I have been of late. However I intend to take the consultant's advice and take things easy, as I still feel quite fragile.
Last weeks weeks happenings unnerved me a little bit but at the same time fascinated me.

This picture shows a red cell, a platelet, and a white cell, or if you want to be scientific: a erythrocyte (left), thrombocyte(centre), and leukocyte (right)
You can't use a pump to get platelets in to the bloodstream as it breaks of all of the protuberances (bits) which makes them useless, so it has to go in purely under gravity in order to be effective.
My pill regime is also back to where it was and all of this will provide grist to the mill of my consultant whom I shall next meet on Thursday prior to chemo.
I've started eating extra red meat again, to support production of these little rascals and today it was rib eye steak's turn for the platter, and very nice it was too.

As for the taking it easy, difficult though it is for me I will do it as i understand where the medicos are coming from. Part of this is the fact that I intend to begin watching videos again. There are loads of films I havent seen, so it should be good.
laters taters, the film's about to start
where's the popcorn?
