Out for lunch

A quiet day by your standards but quite significant by mine. let me explain:

Our good friends Ian and Paula arrived from deepest Dorset and we all went out for lunch to Leonard's.

This was the second time in the last week or so that I had felt well enough to go out, the first being last night with Maria to Cafe Garlic in Gosport.

So obviously things are improving as regards my reaction to the effects of the chemo. in line with this I feel OK too.

The evening provided some old friends visiting - Margaret and Roger and it was lovely to see them. Now for the spooky part:

They are also mutual friends of Ian and Paula, who visited earlier, as well as Roger being an old work colleague of my bezzy chum Kevin who was also visiting at the time.

It's a small old world at times innit?
