The most beautiful of days started with a visit to the car bootie where Maria managed to purchase a long mirror.
We were home in double quick time where Joy of joys my Uncle Chris turned up at 0830 just like he said he would - what a guy. He then proceeded to emulsion the ceilings and walls of the hall stairs and landing, and what a fantastic job he is making of it as well. I am really pleased after yesterdays let down by the gas man.
We also had some visitors this morning:
My good friend Kevin - top banana, followed by my equally esteemed chums Karl and Caroline and family. Their girls Hannah and Lucie are both a credit and delight to their parents and it was wonderful to see them.
We went out for a late lunch at the Buccaneer at the bottom of Gudge Heath Lane in Fareham. Typical Harvester but just what we needed nice one!
Home for a nap in front of the telly.

- hi guys as most of you know i'm an instructor/lecturer at Vector Fleetlands. I teach anything from engineering to apprentices to staff and career courses for the rest of the work force. I've worked there for 8 years now and know most of the guys on site as most come through my hands for either Induction or other staff courses. On a personal note I am married to Maria. I also have two children and four grandchildren. I love them all dearly and they can wrap grumpy old me around their little fingers quite easily. (As you probably know already, I'm strong and tough with a heart of purest marshmallow!) In January 2009 I was diagnosed with cancer and am currently undergoing chemotherapy at Haslar Hospital.
