Jumping to Conclusions

Hi Bloggers and Bloggerettes
Good news on the temporal front. The Shaguar is now tip top, and you can't half tell the difference with new shocks are fitted - nice one!

The plastering is complete and the experts Ian and Johnno, tackled a couple of extra spots in other places in the house bless em! It all looks really good and once it has dried out (2 days by the run of things) it will be ready for painting.

The Committee of Taste (Maria) has already chosen the paint which is on the apricot side of the fascinating, yet popular, shade of Magnolia. For the purists amongst you (ie Anoraks) the exact shade is Apricot White, and can be experienced at:

I know it may sound funny but it will match the colour of the woodwork more (orangy / browny). The woodwork being just stained and waxed in a honey/ antique pine colour.

We ventured forth into the big wide world (B & Q)

to purchase some more stain and wax, and had fish and chips for our tea from the chippy at Sarisbury - Outstanding! Really Really Good!

Check out this fish and chips link as there's quite a tale attached to it!

Then home to watch the Apprentice -riveting stuff. (I'm just glad there was no Britain's got Talent or one of its derivatives on, as it's wearing a bit thin now.)

Check out my links blogsters as they are not always what they may at first seem if you know what I mean.
