I got up Friday morning feeling relatively good, and a quick check on my blood sugars showed likewise.
I popped into work to attend to to some paperwork and was able to take the time to talk to colleagues, which was lovely. You'll never guess what the overriding topic of conversation was with every person I met?
Well OK then, MP's Expenses - especially our local one. Why have there been no police interviews or pending prosecutions for these people?
You could imagine what would be said when up before the beak eh? I didn't realise what was happening M'llard! (Boom! Boom!)
Where has contrition or shame disappeared to?
These people in parliament are still oblivious as to the depth of public outrage over this issue; and it will continue to be a big issue until a change in MP's attitudes is sensed.
The pigs are now taxi-ing down the runway, (apart from those whose noses are still stuck in the trough, or who are in bed with flu).
Needless to say my HR enquiry as to Vector funding a new rabbit hutch at my sisters in Middlesbrough didn't get past the first hurdle.Friday afternoon saw a stream of visitors as usual - love you all! To those who haven't been yet come on round!
Ciao bambino's
