Up at the trough

Hi Bloggers

Just at the risk of being political Isn't it exciting to find our local MP in the news.

I think he should be commended for his sterling work for the local Mallard community in providing an island for them in his pond .

Oh that he could put that much time and effort into other local issues, like saving Haslar. (or Fleetlands, remember?). Should you wish to congratulate him for his sterling work to attract the floating voters, he can be contacted via his website (floating in cyberspace, no doubt) at:

Mallard in Gosport - A Special Report
A Spokesman for the Gosport Mallard community was quoted as saying
"It's all Quackers here" but it was very kind of that nice gentleman to provide them with a floating council residence.
"I didnt think I'd have sufficient points on the housing list with all these youngsters, and we'd only been on the waiting lists a short while"

This provides a fresh approach and firm commitment to the treatment of Mallard in Gosport today, as no doubt previous Members would have shot and ate them.
A huge step forward for the Green party and conservation issues in Gosport then?
Well there are still many who feel that those in power in gosport although taking certain issues like the Mallard under their wing, are still side-stepping certain issues like those concerning crabs at Priddy's Hard for example.
More of this and other green issues in Gosport, in our special Report next week - Badger? is premature greyness a problem? What can we do?
