Smart as a guardsvan (supposed to be guardsman but there you go)

Busy day today (Wednesday) campers,

My very good friend John picked me up so that I was able go and get my head sharpened as a precursor for Saturday. You know the routine times may change but standards must never, along with neat and natty but never gaudy! (and other such ex-naval cliches - love 'em!)

We pitched up at Ians in Forton / Brockhurst Road where I was attend upon by the great man himself. He was very sensitive to my condition and boy did he do me proud!

I had a super cut and beard trim and left feeling a million dollars as they say. It goes without saying I can thoroughly recommend it.

Post haircut we journeyed to the Harbour Cancer Support Centre to drop of a money box from and saved by Maria. Again we received a lovely welcome and support, they are such lovely people.

They are there for anyone who's lives are affected by the condition, not just those who are suffering, and the level of involvement is led by you.

It's situated down at the Gosport Ferry above the bus station -its a very laudable cause please check it out!

We then took the slow route home as it was a beatiful day, which involved an ice cream at the Penguin cafe in Lee on the Solent.

John and I talked of cabbages and kings (sh**e), and it was a magic moment.

Once home it was time for a nap (no change there then)

later guys
